Creating a Collaborative Enterprise
Retool your organization to dominate your markets.
Author's name: Robert L. Nitschke
IB.com Catalog Number: 350
Description: Creating a COLLABORATIVE ENTERPRISE is not a concept; it is a compelling view of how to bring greater success in reach of any organization. It is written in a way that informs, instructs, guides, and encourages; all with insight, honesty, practicality and simplicity. The challenges and solutions Robert Nitschke provides will speak to every leader and employee that yearns for their organization to defy “traditional methods” and walk their own path to greater success.
In any industry there is no shortage of dysfunctional organizations that are providing lackluster performance and each has its own story. There is no “one-size fits all” method for finding the solution that will renovate the enterprise back to a more successful position. The one thing that works, each and every time, is to work more effectively with those relationships that have an impact on each organization’s mission. And it cannot be a one-way effort.
The Collaborative Enterprise does not exist in only one industry, nor is it limited to certain types of products and services. The Collaborative Enterprise is characterized by a corporate philosophy promoting a customer-centric focus and a self-balancing, integrated, operating structure that is sometimes called an ecosystem. This unique structure enhances the delivery of products and services in an open-communications environment that promotes the collaboration of all stakeholders in meeting the corporation’s objectives.
The numbers of Collaborative Enterprises are growing in all markets across the world and certainly within the United States. If your company is not considering a change in the way you conduct business, I am certain that you will be competing with a Collaborative Enterprise sometime in the foreseeable future.
Creating a COLLABORATIVE ENTERPIRSE is focused on a grounded set of strategies and tactics that the author has used, promoted and celebrated during a truly remarkable career. His passion for gaining performance improvement results at all levels within any type of organization drives the exciting journey he will take you on within this compelling book.

Creating a Collaborative Enterprise
"The Collaborative Enterprise knows that it is the leadership that provides the direction and the consistency required for the CE to evolve and perform to meet the organization’s goals and objectives.
"For those who do not yet fully understand the inter-workings of the CE organization, what is confusing is that there is a more ambiguous line of separation for leadership.
"There are high levels, medium levels and low levels of leadership. You may say, “The same levels of leadership exist in my traditional organization, too.” I say, “You may have the levels of leadership by title, but I bet you don’t have them in terms of functionality, responsibility and accountability.”
"You see, the CE looks at leadership differently than most traditional companies. They identify leadership as the act of leading at all levels of the organization — not just leading from the CEO or another C-level position, while everyone else in a leadership position, who mostly just have a title, seem to follow along. CE leadership at the highest level has tremendous respect and trust for the leadership at the lowest level within the organization and vise versa. All leader |
